Step 1

Introductory Consultation

Every bespoke commission begins with a conversation. Our initial, no obligation consultation is an opportunity to get to know you, understand your ideas and explore the styles, materials and details that will shape your piece.

Meet us at our Hatton Garden store or speak with us remotely via Zoom. Throughout the process, you will play an integral role in the development of your jewellery. When visiting us in person, you will also be invited to tour our workshop and meet the craftsmen who will bring your piece to life.

Step 2

Ideas Workshop

“As with all great design it starts with an idea”.

Following your initial consultation, your ideas will be developed with our jewellery design specialists. Together, we will explore the possibilities and refine your vision into a fully formed concept.

At this stage, we will also discuss the materials, techniques and estimated costs involved.

Step 3

Final Design Presentation

Once the concept has been developed, our team begins the process of bringing your design to life.

Detailed drawings and, where appropriate, a wax model will be created to help you visualise the proportions, form and details of your final piece. This is an important stage in the process, giving you the opportunity to review the design and make any final amendments before production begins.

Step 4

Creation

With the design approved, our jewellers and hand engravers begin the meticulous process of creating your bespoke piece.

Every stage is carried out with care and precision, from the initial production and finishing through to any hand engraving or gemstone setting. A fitting may also be required before the engraving stage begins.

Once complete, your jewellery will be presented to you at a final meeting at our Hatton Garden premises or carefully shipped to you, wherever you are in the world.
